OUR MISSION
The Undergraduate Business Society (UBS) is the largest student organization at UCLA with an annual membership of more than 5,500 undergraduates. For over 40 years, UBS has offered a variety of events to help UCLA students develop the necessary networks and skills to break into some of the most competitive industries in business, such as investment banking, management consulting, and finance.
The society's mission is to build a personal and professional network that begins at UCLA and continues after graduation, and to support the organization's members in navigating through the various professional recruitment processes.

Hello there! My name is Garrett Roach, I am from Columbia, Missouri, and I am an Economics student graduating in 2025. I came to UCLA wanting to pursue a career in business, but I wasn’t sure where to start. Fortunately, I found the Undergraduate Business Society near the beginning of my freshman year, and I used its extensive resources in career exploration and skill development to work toward my desired career path. My experience with the Undergraduate Business Society over the past three years has been incredibly transformational, and I am so excited to spend this term giving back to the community that helped me achieve more than I thought was possible.
Founded in 1981, UBS is a student-led organization that has been serving our members professionally and fostering a strong business community at UCLA for decades. Whether it is through comprehensive workshops, speaker series, or networking events, UBS is a powerful resource for students to develop their skill sets and connect with industry professionals. Our board brings together the leaders of the most prominent business clubs on campus, allowing us to create an environment that encourages collaboration among all students. The majority of our board has already completed intensive internship programs across the most competitive roles in business, and we are now dedicated to spending the rest of our time at UCLA helping improve the community that brought us to where we are today.
UBS also hosts the largest recruiting events for undergraduates at UCLA. Through our Industry Nights in Financial Services, Consulting, and Investment Banking, as well as our Annual Careers in Business Fair, we are proud to foster personalized interactions between firms and hundreds of ambitious students. For companies that would like to make a difference in Bruins’ lives, while gaining exposure to some of the most qualified and diverse applicants in the nation, we would be excited to partner with you.
