FALL QUARTER - WEEK 1 (oct 2017)

The Undergraduate Business Society’s Investment Banking Night, hosted in partnership with the UCLA Career Center, is the only recruitment focused career fair at UCLA dedicated exclusively to the investment banking industry. This event draws over 20 firms and 300 students every Fall, providing the optimal opportunity for UCLA’s top candidates to meet and network with firms. Organizations in attendance typically recruit for full-time and internship positions within the investment banking industry.

Some past firms that have attended include: Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Duff & Phelps, Goldman Sachs, Guggenheim Securities, Houlihan Lokey, Imperial Capital, LLC, Intrepid Investment Bankers, Jefferies LLC, Macquartie Capital (USA) Inc, Moelis & Company, Morgan Stanley, and Stifel.

Spring and FALL QUARTERs

The Undergraduate Business Society’s Investment Banking Workshop is a rigorous course designed to prepare juniors recruiting for summer analyst roles at investment banks. The Workshop material covers accounting, valuation methodology, Excel skills, modeling, behavioral interview questions, and technical questions specific to individual products and sectors. Selected participants attend weekly firm information sessions where the students have the chance to learn about the companies and engage in exclusive networking events. The Workshop is run by the Investment Banking Committee, which is composed of seniors who have completed summer analyst roles and accepted full-time offers in the investment banking field.
